It’s amazing the advances in modern life that you miss living overseas for the better part of five years. While I was learning to live more simply, and climb trees for coconuts, the developed world was giving society every gizmo and gadget to make life as convenient (and cluttered) as possible. Returning back to America after 5 years introduced me to the fad of Apple Watches and Fitbits.
